Our Story

Hi! My name is Kennah Bloom Davis, and I'm the founder of Bloom Dog — a small, handmade pet accessories brand built on a love of dogs, sewing, and the belief that even big dreams start small.

I learned to sew as a young teenager, inspired by someone very special to me who was expecting a baby. I wanted to make her a blanket, so I reached out to a family friend who graciously taught me — and I've been hooked ever since.

Around that same time, my dad taught me to mow the lawn and paid me for my work. That first paycheck was a turning point. I realized that making money wasn't just for grown-ups — it was simpler than I'd thought. Not easier, but simpler. With a big goal in mind, I got to work.

After lots of research and more YouTube videos than I can count, I discovered just how many dog owners there are in America. I taught myself to sew dog collars and bandanas, and made my debut at a local show in late 2024. The response blew me away.

Since then, Bloom Dog has grown more than I ever imagined. I launched this website, brought my sister, Berklie, on board to help bring these products to life, and have done shows at the local farmers market. Every collar, leash, and bandana is made with care — and a whole lot of heart.

I'm so grateful for the support of my friends, my incredible family, and to God for giving me the opportunity and strength to build something of my own. And I'm grateful for you — for being here, for believing in small businesses, and for choosing something handmade.
